A shared scale does not automatically keep each person’s readings private. Privacy depends on the exact companion app, account model, user-recognition rules, phone permissions and data-sharing settings. Those software behaviours have not yet been verified end to end for ARBOLEAF CF625BLE+WIFI-X05.

Do not promise separate profiles, automatic user recognition or private household accounts until the current app and exact model have been tested together.

Start with the app identity

Use the instructions supplied with the scale to identify the companion app. Confirm the app name and publisher in the official app store. Review its privacy information before entering weight, age, height or other personal data. If the documentation and app listing do not match, stop and ask the retailer for the correct setup route.

Questions every household should answer

  • Does each person need a separate account, a separate profile or a separate phone?
  • Can another household member see a reading before it is assigned?
  • What happens when two people have similar weights?
  • Are measurements stored on the phone, in a cloud account, on the scale or in more than one place?
  • Can a user delete one reading, a profile and the whole account?
  • Does disconnecting a health platform stop future transfers?
  • Can marketing, analytics or optional sharing be turned off?

These are verification questions, not confirmed features of this model.

Use the minimum access needed

If the app asks for Bluetooth, local-network, location, health-data or notification permissions, read the purpose shown on the phone. Grant only what is required for the function you intend to use. A Wi-Fi-capable scale does not need to be connected to every household service, and a health-platform link should not be enabled merely because it is offered.

Agree how the scale will be used

Before setup, decide where the scale will sit, who may use the connected phone and whether results may appear in notifications, widgets, email or a shared health account. On a family device, lock-screen previews can reveal information even when the app itself is protected.

For children or anyone who has not agreed to data collection, do not create a profile or upload readings on their behalf without an appropriate basis. Body-composition estimates are sensitive personal information and are not a medical diagnosis.

Check deletion before relying on the service

Find the documented routes for deleting a reading, disconnecting a third-party service, deleting a profile and deleting the full account. These actions are not necessarily the same. Removing an app from a phone may leave an online account and its data intact.

If export matters, verify the available format and which fields it contains. The current product evidence does not confirm CSV export or any other download format.

What is confirmed about the hardware

CF625BLE+WIFI-X05 is a black body-composition scale with eight stainless-steel electrodes, a retractable hand grip, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, and a VA colour display. It requires four 1.5 V AAA batteries. Those hardware facts do not establish how many users the software supports or who can see a reading.

Privacy-first buying rule

If separate household access is essential, make it a purchase condition and ask for the current app documentation before ordering. If privacy behaviour cannot be demonstrated, treat it as unverified rather than assuming the app will separate data correctly.
